Káli Basin is one of the most precious pearls of the Balaton Uplands National Park. The countryside is calm in winter, delightful in spring, sparkling in summer and enchanting in autumn. The village of Köveskál, situated in the geographical centre of the basin, preserves in its name the memory of the Kál family that settled here around the Hungarian conquest.
